Dafydd Lewis Trust turns 65
The first Dafydd Lewis Scholarships were awarded in 1943. Since then, more than 900 young men have been chosen to become Dafydd Lewis Scholars.
This year a new group of 16 young men became Dafydd Lewis Scholars. This brings the total number of young men currently studying at University as Dafydd Lewis Scholars to close to 60.
The Dafydd Lewis Trust Scholarship Trustees are planning to celebrate this milestone in educational philanthropy by holding a Dinner on 4 September 2008 to which all past and present Dafydd Lewis Scholars will be invited.

Value added to Dafydd Lewis Scholarship
At the start of the 2008 University year, Mr Bruce Anderson, Chairman of the Dafydd Lewis Trust welcomed all Dafydd Lewis Scholars to an evening where experts from ANZ spoke about managing money and preparing a resume for future employment. About 40 Scholars attended, including some Mary Jane Lewis Scholars as well.
Those present stayed to chat and network, building important relationships for the coming years.
Dafydd Lewis Trust Alumni
We are creating a database of all known Dafydd Lewis Scholars to enable past Scholars to connect with each other again as well as pass their knowledge on to current Dafydd Lewis Scholars. We have over 450 known Scholars at last count.
